In Kingdom Hearts, Sora is always 'reaching' for Riku - whether he's attempting to out-do Riku, surpass Riku, search for Riku, defeat Riku, etc; Riku is always something he's 'reaching' for in one way or another. Kairi, on the other hand, is the one who put the strength in his heart to continue to fight, to never give up, to believe and move forwards.

Since I did the image with a whispier line style than I normally use, I used a softer colouring style ^^

For 's October contest. The contest wanted a peice depicting "Love in Battle; Your Love My Strength" and this is my contribution.

Love the dreamy feel of the pic. The way Sora holds the keyblade certainly prevents you from just taking a cursory glance.
